Wow, what a useless article! Whats the point in writing something - LCD vs plasma - as if the author thought it was good time to draw some conclusions, when he doesnt actually achieve ANYTHING! Go out and compare them then, why compare a plasma to a LCD double the price? I think this article made me dumber!! I was hoping to get a straight answer, will an LCD of contrast 10000:1 or so produce as good blacks as a plasma of the same spec? And how black is this, say compared to the nice glossy black frame, is it a good black, or still no where near?!
If you came for my opinion, you're right I didn't state it in this post.
Personally I think Plasma can still look better, but obviously it's not fair to say that all Plasmas look better than all LCDs. So again you have to judge each TV on it's own, but the best looking TV today is the Pioneer Elite Plasma.
