Well, I have a Pioneer 50" Elite Plasma (720p) and I still find it looks better than a lot of sets on the market. Yes, it's one of those higher-end sets, but the difference in clarity is pretty astonishing compared to low-end plasmas/LCDs. This set is on display at Best Buys that have Magnolia in them.
Well, after much research, I bought a 50-inch Sony KDS50A2000 but was disappointed enough by the picture quality and rear-projection screen-door effect compared to an old Gateway Plasma that I returned it for a Pioneer PDP5070HD plasma and haven't regretted the decision one iota. I couldn't be happier!
